Jamie Mackie's strike seals stunning QPR victory over Liverpool at Loftus Road - Telegraph
Liverpool are very much a team in evolution. Presumably the best thing from this game is a lesson on how to hold on. Two headed goals leaked through a patched up defence may display a lack of experience that can hopefully improve with time. Late season injuries to a settled back line and inexperienced and ageing replacements are probably the cause of this defeat. One injury that might not be too impactful is that to Charlie Adam. Liverpool won their last two games without him on the field. This may be a bit cruel on Charlie but I am not convinced about his temperament and do not think he is Liverpool material. It is as much a learning experience for Kenny Dalglish as for everyone else. Hopefully two cups may offset the disappointment and ignominy of a low position and paltry point and goal numbers.
